Our Presentation Is For Chalewote Festival - Water Boys

Water Boys is a group of young boys base in Ga-Maahie the coastle side of Accra James Town. This group was formed from different set of groups Mobile Boys ,VIP Boys and many more. It was formed in 2010. Becuase of how United they members are  and also how they have been presenting themselves some members among them have been helping a lot of people in the community when it comes to education and personal issues. In 2011 chalewote festival was introduce into the community and the main aim of the festival is about art and culture. In 2012 Water Boys decide to be part of the festival because the festival is in the community so they decide to start installation of cheif ,queen, traditional elder and many more so that they will present the art of celebrating the Ga Homowo festival during the chalewote festival as their presentation to be part of the festival and also to let people from other tribes and outside the country to get to know how the festival is been celebrated . Alex Ntiamoah Made it clear in an interview with Dj Von on Tune Aftica that there is a rumour spreading that they were in competition with the Kings and queens in the community. From their own mouth they said the art of displaying the celebration of Homowo festival is their presentation for the chalewote festival Only

Halifax Ansah-Addo Joins Okay FM

Information gathered by  MyNewsGh.com  is that award winning journalist, Halifax Ansah-Addo, has signed a contract with the Despite Media Group and he would be working as a presenter for Okay 101.7 Fm starting this June. The journalist would be hosting the mid-morning slot on Okay FM from 10AM to 12 noon on weekdays on a programme called ‘Best Entertainment Show’.
