Legendary Ghanaian highlife musician, Adane Best last Saturday proved to his fans and Ghanaian music lovers all across board that, he is the best when it comes to live band performance.

At the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Experience Concert held at the Independence Square in Accra, he thrilled fans with Jata Bi and many other songs.

His dance moves, energy and all the hit songs he dropped were enjoyed by everyone. He performed songs like Mama Mia, Gyata Bi, Maafio, W’ano Pe Asem, Suumo among others.

There were generally good performances from the likes of Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Tinny, Adina, Empress Gifty Adorye, Kwesi Arthur, Akesse Brempong, Bongo Blay and others.

The Experience Concert was aired live on TV3, DSTV Channel 196 and GOTV Channel 129 with support from Media General, YFM, DSTV, GOtv, KPMG, Graphic Showbiz and proudly connected by Vodafone.

The main awards for the VGMA according to Organizers will come off on May 18 at the Accra International Conference Centre.

2019 Ghana DJ Awards Public Nominations Open

Organizers of Africa’s biggest DJ festival, the annual Ghana DJ Awards, Merqury Republic, wish to announce to all Disc Jockeys and the general public that nominations have been opened for the 2019 edition of the awards. At this first phase of the nomination process, interested DJs or their representatives are expected to submit an entry form, along with mixtapes, music releases, or two-minute videos showing a scratch session. Rocky Dawuni Officially Signs On To Africa 1 Media

Well-travelled Ghanaian International Musician & Humanitarian Activist, Rocky Dawuni, is the latest to sign on to Africa 1 Media. The Grammy nominated Icon officially broke the news at his “Beats Of Zion” Album Concert during his performance. Rocky Dawuni signed on in the first quarter of 2019; henceforth, he will be managed by Africa 1 Media.
