Ghanaian rap artiste Michael Owusu Addo well known as Sarkodie has been lifting the name of Ghana to the international stages and still making the impact. The BET International Artiste laureate has got another nod, in a new category for the 2019 edition of the BET Hip Hop Awards. This category highlight artists from different countries such as Nigeria, UK, France, South Africa, Ghana and Canada. The nomination makes him the first-ever Ghanaian artist to be nominated for the category. The 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards will air Tuesday (Oct. 8) at 8 pm EST on BET.
